PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image blurring correcting optical device which uses a driving mechanism using a shape memory alloy, small in size and light in weight. SOLUTION: A correcting optical unit 10 is constituted of plates 11a and (11b) made of a transparent material, holding frames 12a and 12b, a diaphragm 13 where a hermetically sealed space is formed between the holding frames and a liquid transparent synthetic resin packing material (14) filled in the inside of the hermetically sealed space. Coil springs (15a)-15d pressing in a direction to expand the interval of the holding frames and wires 16a-16d made of the shape memory alloy arranged near an elastic member are arranged at positions obtained by plurally dividing (for instance into 4) the periphery of the holding frame (12) by a specified angle outside the diaphragm 13, and the holding frames 12a and 12b are mutually coupled. The wire made of the shape memory alloy is selected and energized based on an image blurring correction signal so as to restore in a memory state, and the plates 11a and (11b) are inclined to an optical axis, so that incident light is refracted and image blurring is corrected.
