摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus and a method in which the internal quality of fruits and vegetables whose size or absorbance is different can be measured with high accuracy, by a method wherein data on a prescribed intensity is selected out of a plurality of pieces of intensity data obtained by a plurality of amplifier circuits whose amplification factor is different. SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus for the internal quality of fruits and vegetables is provided, e.g. with two series of amplifier circuits comprising two kinds of gain amplifiers 23A, 23B whose amplification factor is different. Then, light which is transmitted through an object 5 to be inspected is processed by a photodiode 2 or the like so as to be converted into a voltage signal. The obtained signal is sent to the gain amplifier circuits 23A, 23B so as to be amplified, and amplified signals are inputted to a selection circuit 27A via a prescribed processing operation. The selection circuit 27A judges their intensity at a prescribed reference wavelength regarding data from the respective series to which the signals are inputted, the series which is closest to a prescribed intensity is selected, and its data is sent to a CPU 27B. Since the data with the prescribed intensity is always processed by the CPU 27B, data on a precise internal quality is obtained on the basis of a stable S/N ratio.</p>
