PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the service life of a power supply by configuring the radio terminal equipment such that an output of a control signal is stopped when a preset limit time elapses during the output of the control signal so as to limit an operating time of a ringer within a prescribed time thereby reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: An EEPROM 12 stores in advance a limit time for which a control section 9 can continuously output a control signal to a ringer circuit 10. When the control section 9 receives data denoting a call coming from a base station from a decoding section 7, the control section 9 starts outputting the control signal to the ringer circuit 10 and also reads the limit time stored in the EEPROM 12 and sets it to a timer 13. When the control section 9 sets the limit time to the timer 13, the timer 13 starts count-down and provides an output of a time-out signal to the control section 9 when the timer 13 expires. When the control section 9 receives the time-out signal from the timer 13, the control section 9 outputs a ring-off signal to the base station to stop the control signal to the ringer circuit 10. |
