PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material having a high charge transporting property by incorporating a compound having a cross-linked triphenylamine skeleton. SOLUTION: This charge transporting material contains a compound expressed by formula I, where D, E, F independently indicate -CR4 R5 -, >C=O, >C=NR6 , >C=R7 R8 , -O-, -S-, -NR9 -, or a bond; R4-9 indicate each H or a substitutional group; R1-3 indicate each a substitutent; (a) is 0 or 1; (b), (c) are 0-4; and (d) is 0-3. The compound expressed by formula II may be used singularly or mixedly with a monomer used as a surfactant, polycarbonate, a cellulose derivative, an ultraviolet hardening resin or a thermosetting resin, for example. A photoelectric conversion element is formed with the charge transporting material containing a semiconductor and the compound of formula I, and the semiconductor is preferably a pigment, e.g. a fine grain semiconductor sensitized by the compound of formula III. |
