PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the unauthorized copy, forgery and imitation of an IC memory card unusable. SOLUTION: For this IC memory card system device, g(k) are respectively calculated by a prescribed method in the IC memory card 2 and a terminal equipment 3 from optional key data (k) decided in the terminal equipment 3, f(k) are respectively calculated by the other prescribed method further, whether or not the respective calculated g(k) are the same is checked in the IC memory card 2, and whether or not the respective calculated f(k) are the same is checked in the terminal equipment 3. The terminal equipment 3 recognizes that the IC memory card 2 is a proper card for the first time when the respective g(k) match and then the respective f(k) match. |
