PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the trouble of inputting certification information per broadcast program and also the trouble of parental control and inputting certification information therefor to a recording/reproducing apparatus such as a home server or the like by providing a two-way communication function for certification confirmation between an AV device and its remote control device and controlling in two ways. SOLUTION: When a user manipulates a remote control operation part 1 of a remote control device 10 to select a program, a program selection information signal is output from a remote control transmission/reception part 4. A host 50, when receiving the program selection information signal at a transmission/reception part 5, judges by a control means 7 whether or not a selected program is required to be certified. When the certification is necessary, a certification information transmission requirement is output from the transmission/reception part 5. The remote control device 10 receiving the certification information transmission requirement at the remote control transmission/reception part 4 searches by a control means 2 whether or not a certification information is stored in a certification information record means 3. When the information is stored, the stored certification information is automatically transmitted. The host 50 judges whether or not the program can be reproduced according to the received certification information, and reproduces the program by a program reproduction means 8 if the reproduction is certified. |
