PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a photosensitive printing plate by which the change of dot reproducibility caused by the peeling of a matting agent due to gang printing is suppressed and the occurrence of irregularity in an image is prevented by forming a photosensitive layer on a substrate, spraying a liquid prepared by dissolving or dispersing a resin in an org. solvent on the surface of the photosensitive layer, and drying it to stick the resin to the photosensitive layer surface in dotty state. SOLUTION: A photosensitive layer is formed on a substrate, and a liquid prepared by dissolving or dispersing a resin in an org. solvent is sprayed on the surface of the photosensitive layer and dried to stick the resin to the photosensitive layer surface in dotty state. The resin stuck to the surface of the photosensitive layer in dotty state have >=5μm and <=20μm average particle size, >=3.5μm and <=6.5μm average height, and are present by >=200 dots/mm<2> and <=1000 porticles/mm<2> . The residual rate A wt.% of the photosensitive layer immersed in an org. solvent (at 30 deg.C) for 3 min, and the boiling point B C of the org. solvent satisfy the relation of A (wt.%)=1.6 B ( deg.C)-C (130<=C<=230).
