PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely set updating a function based on data obtained from a radio signal by allowing the portable terminal device that sets updating the function based on data received from a center device to cope with it when an error is produced in the received data due to a state of the radio wave or the like. SOLUTION: The terminal device is provided with a buffer 22, a D/A converter section 27, a dialer speaker 28 which apply a prescribed arithmetic operation to sent data and send the result of the arithmetic operation to the center device and with a control section 15 that judges the propriety of the data based on contents of a reply from the center device in response to the transmitted data and validates update setting of the function based on the data when the data are judged to be correct. |
