The lintel comprises a pre-stressed concrete beam (3) with a length greater than the width of the door or window opening. The beam, rests on two supports (2) delimiting the opening. Terracotta modules (5), with cells (6), each straddling the beam are placed end to end over all the beam length. These modules are then fixed together by mortar.
