PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC/DC microwave oven to be used with a alternating current power and a direct current power. SOLUTION: This microwave oven includes a rotary inverter 100 for converting a direct current power to an alternating current power while utilizing the rotating force thereof, a high voltage transformer 200 for outputting the high voltage while receiving commercial alternating current power or alternating current power converted by the rotary inverter 100, and a magnetron MGT to be driven by the high voltage output from the high voltage transformer 200 so as to radiate the microwave. Furthermore, this microwave oven includes a control unit for controlling current converting of the rotary inverter 100 so as to output the stabilized frequency. The rotary inverter 100 includes a motor 110, a commutator 130 to be rotated by the motor 110, and brushes 121, 122, 123, 124 in contact with the surface of the commutator 130. |
