摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make correctly adjustable a range finder even in a narrow space, and to highly precisely attain ranging. SOLUTION: A ranging error adjusting device is constituted of a display part 30 such as a liquid crystal display device arranged between a position at the time of assuming that a temporary object to be ranged is separated from a pair of sensor arrays 16R and 16L of a passive type range finder 12 only by a prescribed distance and a pair of the sensor arrays, and a personal computer 50 functioning as a display control part 56 and an adjustment value calculating part 58. The display control part 56 allows a display part 30 to switch and display a display pattern when the temporary object to be ranged is equivalently image picked-up on the pair of sensor arrays, and a display pattern when the object to be measured is present at the position of the display part 30. The adjustment value calculating part 58 calculates an adjustment value based on range data corresponding to each display pattern, and writes it in a memory 22 of the range finder 12.
