PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable information transfer between respective nodes by providing first and second inter-node networks, and connecting each of plural programmable bridge nodes to both networks respectively. SOLUTION: In the electric communication exchange system 17, a host 4 which controls the system 17 and exchange nodes 6a to 6h which are programmable and have host interfaces are connected with an 'Ethernet (R)' or a multiple asynchronous communication link 8. Also, the nodes 6a to 6b are connected with two networks between nodes 12 of ring shape. Thus, since the information is transferred by independently using each ring-shaped network 12, the optimum exchange capacity can effectively be doubled. Also, it is possible to continue the information transfer between the nodes at the second ring-shaped network 12 even if one of the rings is in fault by using two ring- shaped networks 12 and to secure an operation state of a system 17 is enabled. |
