PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head device capable of being simply made at a low price and moreover, capable of providing always stable recording/ reproducing performance without giving any damages such as scratches to a recording medium or a semispherical lens. SOLUTION: In an optical head device in which in order to perform recording or reproducing information for a recording medium 11, the recording medium 11 is irradiated with light from a light source through an objective lens 9 and a semispherical lens 10, driving means 24, 25a and 25b for driving the objective lens 9 in the optical direction, a slider 26 arranged between the driving means and the recording medium 11 through an elastic member 27 so as to be abutted on the recording medium 11 are provided and the semispherical lens 10 is loaded on the slider 26. |
