PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printing system and a print processing method which accelerate printing processing and easily confirms print content before printing. SOLUTION: A host device 1 transmits a print command string that instructs printing of a form to a printer 2. The printer 2 interprets the command string, expands it into raster data and obtains a printed result. The form is divided into a regular part and a variable part, and when the form data of the regular part is stored in the printer 2, it is made more efficient. By this configuration, time needed for printing is reduced, power is saved, especially in the case of a portable device which is often battery driven, service life of the battery is extended. |
