PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell capable of reducing a expensive separator material and realizing low cost. SOLUTION: In a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell in which electrodes are arranged on both sides of a solid polymer electrolyte film, and having gas flow plates 11a, 11b in which gas flow grooves through which fuel gas is supplied to one side of the electrode and an oxidizing agent gas is supplied to the other side of the electrode are formed, gas flow grooves 6a, 6b though which fuel gas or oxidizing agent gas is supplied are formed on one side facing the electrode sides 2a, 2b of the gas flow plates 11a, 11b, the other sides of the gas flow plates are made almost flat, sealing members 5a, 5b are arranged in the periphery parts 11ae of the gas flow plates, and plane plates 3a, 3b are arranged on the almost flat surfaces of the gas flow plats 11a, 11b. |
