摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shape a heat exchange element so that two functions of a cross flow and a counter flow be obtained and that a contact area be enlarged, to make high the efficiency of an apparatus for heat exchange and ventilation and to always improve a heat exchange efficiency corresponding to changes in temperature-humidity of outdoor air and indoor temperature-humidity. SOLUTION: A heat exchange element 5 of an apparatus for heat exchange and ventilation is made hexagonal so that heat exchange air be passed through a cross flow heat exchange element 6 in the portion where a temperature-humidity difference is large and be passed through a counter flow heat exchange element 7 in the portion where the temperature-humidity difference is small and that a contact area of the air be enlarged. Thereby an apparatus having a high heat exchange efficiency is provided. By providing a removable high- performance filter 10 at intakes of inlet-side air, besides, prolongation of the life of the heat exchange element and facilitation of operation and maintenance thereof can be realized. Moreover, execution of an operation of high efficiency is always enabled by quickly draining dew water outside even when dew formation occurs inside the heat exchange element 5.
