<p>Cheddar cheese making appts., consists of a ripening tank with perforated bottom conveyor, cheese is made by two passes of the curd, with a mincing operation between by a mincer, and a final pressing operation through a pressure plate. A return conveyor cutter, and a salter are included. Pref. the salter is at the return end and the mincer precedes the return conveyor. The apparatus enables finished cheeses to be made by formation of a cheese mattress as thick as 40-50 cms., without separate maturing moulds or manual working.</p> |
