PURPOSE: A session management method based on capability information is provided to inquire a terminal which satisfies requirement for media service at CUDM(Converged User Data Manager) at once, thereby reducing waste of wireless resource and signaling overhead. CONSTITUTION: A remote end(300) receives a session start request message from an external entity. An AS(Application Server)(510) transmits a reference request message to a CUDM(Converged User Data Manager). If information is responded from the CUDM, the AS selects a relevant terminal based on the information. The AS transmits a session initiation requirement message to UE-A1. A session about a media is set among the US-A1, the external entity, and a remoter terminal.
