PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption during a stand-by state by turning the power OFF only when the equipment itself is not in service during a stand-by state, in the case that the operation of the equipment is controlled by remote control by means of a remote control transmitter. SOLUTION: When it is detected by an ON signal from a detection switch 23 that a remote control transmitter 6 is in a stored state, whether the operation is finished or the equipment is in a stand-by state is detected by a microcomputer 5. Until a specified period of delay time passes after the stand-by state is recognized, the power is kept ON. During this period of time, the remote control transmitter 6 can be taken out from a storing section to remotely control the equipment or the equipment can be directly operator from the main body 10. After the passage of the delay time, the power is turned OFF to reduce unnecessary power consumption during the stand-by state. |
