PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable and general-purpose device for estimating the AC voltage of PWM converter. SOLUTION: A device for estimating AC voltage of PWM converter detects a DC voltage V by means of a first means and an AC current IA by means of a second means 2, and finds an AC control voltage VC by means of a third means 3 from the DC current value V outputted from the first means 1 and a switching pattern. Then the device finds the estimated value of an AC voltage, by means of a fourth means 4 by using the values of the AC current IA and AC control voltage VC detected by means of the second and third means 2 and 3 and an AC reactor value and a basic AC frequency value. |
