The acoustic measuring unit has at least one sensor for detecting an air sound signal and at least one further sensor for detecting a body sound signal. A receiver system is provided for recording the respective signals from the air and the body sound sensor (3), designed respectively as a microphone (5) and a piezoreceiver. An rpm sensor (9) determines the rpm of the vehicle engine. A data recorder receives the sensor signals for evaluation.
