PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive polymerization cell capable of efficiently producing a plastic lens, especially a thiourethane type lens of good quality free from optical strain and a self-adhesive tape used in the formation of a polymerization cell. SOLUTION: A silicone self-adhesive layer containing 25-mer or less diorganosiloxane with a low b.p. component content of 12 wt.% or less is provided on a base material comprising a polymer selected from polyphenylene sulfide and polyethylene napthalate with tensile strength retention, which is calculated on the basis of the measured result of a tensile strength test according to JIS C2318 before and after 72-hr standing in 85 deg.C saturated steam, of 95% or more, steam permeability of 3 g/m<2> .24 hr.0.1 mm or less and tensile strength retention, measured according to JIS C2318, of 95% or more. |
