PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary press connection method by which it is possible to reduce spoilage and mitigate an operation to check and correct printed matter. SOLUTION: This rotary press connecting method is performed by a sheet feed device 1, an in-feed device 3 arranged with a clutch 10, a printing unit 4 (4a-4e) equipped with an auxiliary drive motor 8, a drag roller 6, a drive lateral shaft 11 to which a folding machine 5 and each of the printing units 4a-4e are connected with a main drive motor 7 arranged and a drive vertical shaft 12 with a clutch 9. The folding machine 5 is moved until it assumes a specific phase while a rotary press is entirely connected to an in-feed device 3 during replacing a printing plate or the like, and then is stopped at that position. Further, the main drive motor 7 is locked, and clutches 9, 10 are set in the OFF position, and further, the sheet feed device 1 is braked. in addition, each of the required printing units 4 is driven by each of the auxiliary drive motors 8 to replace each of the printing plates which are required and need to be replaced. After that, each of the printing units 4 is driven by each of the auxiliary drive motors 8 to be set in the specific phase and the clutches 9, 10 are set in the ON position. |
