PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable execution of uniform coating and to stabilize the qualities of a prepreg and a laminate to be obtained, by a method wherein powderlike thermosetting resin or a powderlike thermosetting resin composition is applied by thermal-spraying to at least one surface of a sheetlike fiber base. SOLUTION: A powderlike component of thermosetting resin such as epoxy resin is applied to a sheetlike fiber base by thermal-spraying according to a gas powder spraying method or the like. Such a manufacturing method enables attainment of saving of resources, reduction of atmospheric pollution and energy saving due to absence of solvents, without changing substantially the performance of a prepreg or a laminate obtained. Since no solvent is used in manufacturing the prepreg and the laminate, besides, reaction is fast, time for drying and molding is shortened and further reduction of the cost can also be attained. Since this method uses the powderlike component and utilizes thermal-spraying, uniform dispersion and bonding of each powderlike component, uniform dispersion thereof to the sheetlike base and sufficient impregnation can be attained. |
