The appliance modifies at least a part of the electromagnetic oscillations generated in the patient in that it inverts a part of the frequency spectrum of the oscillations. The amplitudes and/or the frequencies after inversion can then be modulated by automatically increasing the amplification appropriate to a specific therapy program from a lowest to a highest value or vice versa.
