Pyroelectric detector for use in an infrared gas analyzer or flow rate sensor

The detector has two gas chambers (14,15) that are arranged in sequence with a measurement cell and that are filled with gas of the same absorption properties of the gas to be measured. A channel (16) links the two chambers with a pyroelectric sensor (19) with opening (17) arranged in the channel, for measurement of the flow rate. Independent claims are made for a flow meter and a method of its manufacture.
