<p>The invention concerns a machine tool for machining rotating parts (300a and 300b) comprising, arranged on a frame (B) in a common horizontal plane: a machining station (100) equipped with at least one tool (110); and two machining stations (200a and 200b) arranged parallel upstream and downstream of the work station (100) such that the tool (110) of the latter can describe a reciprocating motion from one work station (200a or 200b) to the other (200b or 200a). Said machine tool is characterised in that each work station (200a or 200b) comprises a single spindle for driving (210a or 210b) the rotating parts (300a or 300b) with its motoring system and equipped with a chuck (211a or 211b) for clamping and centring the rotating parts (300a or 300b) at one of its ends. The invention also concerns working methods of such a machine tool. The invention is useful for machining long rotating parts such as crankshafts.</p> |
