<p>Acrylamide is prepd. by neutralising acrylamide sulphate with NH with formation of ammonium sulphate as by-prod., using sufficient liquid NH3 to dissolve the acrylamide obtd. The soln of acrylamide in liq. NH3 obtd can be polymerised by irradiation in the presence of a catalyst, and articles can be formed from the polyacrylamides produced.</p> |
