<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain continuity of images by repeatedly displaying a 1st display end point picture specified as an out-point picture, until the decoding of a 2nd display start point picture as an in-point picture is completed if the decoding of the 2nd display start point picture is not completed, when the display of the 1st display end point picture is completed at the time of skip reproduction. SOLUTION: The decoding device after setting an STC(reference synchronizing signal) to the SRC(system time reference value of an out-point side program decodes the out-point side program according to DTS(decoding time management information) of respective pictures and displays the decoded pictures according to PTS(reproduction output management information). If the decoding of in-point pictures is not completed, when the display of the out-point pictures is completed, the out-point pictures are repeatedly displayed, the STC is set to the in-point PTS once the decoding is completed, and in-point pictures are displayed.</p> |
