GEIGY AG 22 April 1970 [29 May 1969] 19199/70 Heading C4P The invention comprises reactive monoazo dyes of formula wherein A is a phenyl radical containing -SO 2 -B in o-position to -N=N-, B is a meta-sulphophenyl radical, R is the 2-amino-3- carboxynaphthyl-(1)-radical and X is a fibrereactive radical. The dyes are prepared by azocoupling using appropriate components or by the usual condensation reactions introducing the reactive radical. The dyes give red shades on leather, cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fibres.</p> |
