PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain route guidance equipment capable of searching a recommended route which selects preferentially a road easy of running such as a toll road, a river side road and a road under an elevated road. SOLUTION: When an operation processing part 6 searches a general road section contained in routes from a given starting spot to a destination, on the basis of map information stored in a storage device 1, a road easy of running, e.g. such as a toll road, a river side road and a road under an elevated toll road is preferentially selected and contained in recommended routes. In spite of a detour, a road which is not rather crowed, has few intersections and signals, is easy of running and consequently enables quick arrival to a destination is contained in the recommended routes. Thereby route guidance which is more suitable for practical running is enabled. |
