PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the color image of an original judged as a color original to be copied by retrieving a color image output equipment from stored information on the image output equipment. SOLUTION: When an automatic original color recognition mode and a mode 2 (both-output mode) are selected by a user (S2955-Yes), the color of the original is recognized (S2957) after reading the image (S2954), and whether the image data of a page read at present is color or monochrome is judged (S2959). When it is a color original (S2959-Yes), the page information is recorded in a RAM (S2961), and the image is outputted by a monochrome printer in the same manner as other monochrome original pages. After finishing the scanning and the transfer of all the originals, the printer for outputting the color image is retrieved (S2971). The image detected as the color original and recorded in the RAM is transferred to the color printer retrieved on a network and printed out (S2967). |
