PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select one focus area from plural focus area without adding a new operation member by providing an operation member for switching a mode in which the focus area in an X-axis direction is selected and a mode in which the focus area in a Y-axis direction is selected. SOLUTION: This camera is provided with an operation member for switching a mode in which a focus area in the X-axis direction is selected and a mode in which a focus area in the Y-axis direction is selected by the operation of a dial operation part. Namely, in this camera, when a photographer moves and selects 15 range-finding points arranged ion the X-axis and the Y-axis directions on an observation image plane of a finder to an optical range-finding point from a specified range-finding point, the movement of the range-finding point in the X-axis direction that an electronic dial is operated being the 2nd operation is performed after the operation of a range-finding point selection button being the 1st operation. Then, in the 3rd operation, an FE lock button 43 is pressed in the state that the range-finding point selection button is not operated and the electronic dial 46 is operated so that the range-finding point in the Y-axis direction is moved. |
