PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an excellent fixing property by executing temperature control in accordance with the state of a heating body. SOLUTION: Heating is executed by deciding fixing temp. control temperature (Td) and inter-paper control temperature (Tc) by the output of a thermistor showing the temperature of the heating body of the fixing device (step 1). The time (g) required to reach a first control temperature (Tf), and the time (h) required to reach an inter-paper temp. control temperature (Tc) and a difference Δ=(h)-(g) are detected (step 2-4), and paper feeding timing is decided based on the difference Δt (step 5), so that fixing is executed by specified timing (step 6). A table to decide the paper feeding timing is changed in accordance with the state of the heating body. The start timing for the fixing temperature control temp. (Td) may be decided based on the difference Δt. |
