PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the long-term stability of lubricating effects of a lubricating silicone grease based on dimethylsilicone by dispersing therein a pulverized melamine cyanurate powder. SOLUTION: 0.05-10 wt.% melamine cyanurate powder having a particle size of 0.1-1μm is dispersed in a lubricating silicone grease based on dimethylsilicone. The resultant dispersion is mechanically kneaded with a ball mill for at least 12 hr or is heated at 100-200 deg.C for at least 15 min to pulverize the melamine cyanurate powder, and then the mechanical kneading or heating is further conducted until light absorption peaks by FT-IR analysis appear at 1,600 kayser, 1,900 kayser, and 3,500 kayser, thus giving a lubricating silicone grease contg. pulverized melamine cyanurate. If necessary, the pulverization of the powder may be conducted by applying the dispersion to a site to be lubricated of an apparatus and then applying a mechanical external force to or heating the applied dispersion.
