An insulating container (30) comprising a bottomed paper cup body (10) coated over the inner surface thereof with polyolefine resin, formed at the upper-end opening-edge thereof with an outwardly curled portion (3) and formed at the trunk side wall (1) thereof with at least one outwardly-protruding rib (4), and a paper cylindrical body (20) in an inverted truncated cone shape and formed at the lower end thereof with an inwardly curled portion (6), wherein the cylindrical body (20) is put over the outer peripheral surface of the paper cup body (10) so as to come in contact with the paper cup body (10) at at least one rib (4) of the paper cup body (10) and a contact portion provided on the outer peripheral of the lower end of the trunk side wall (1), thereby providing an insulating container having a stable insulating feature and capable of being provided with highly free-to-express, excellent designs implemented by printing or the like on the outer peripheral surface and being reduced in production costs.
