Continuous wire forming appliance

A cut wire (1) is bent in a forming channel (2). This extends in longitudinal direction of the bending tool, beginning with the shape of the stretched wire length and ending with the final wire shape. Forming takes place in the channel at right angles to the wire axis, and in a plane at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the forming channel. The slide is simultaniously used as advance and cutter die. The process requires only one linear moveable tool. The bending tool consists of one or more parts, and has lubricant apertures (16) opening into the forming channel.
