The jet has an outer jet (5) through the casing of the jet drive, and a variable-geometry jet with one or more jets in the interior which can be moved axially relative to the outer jet. The form of the cross section of the inner jets in the rest position corresponds to the run of the flow lines, so that resistance is only increased by friction against the inner jets.
