The invention concerns a device for heating and closing heat-shrinkable clips for surgical use, comprising a housing enclosing an electronic power and control circuit, a power cord connected to the mains (2), characterised in that the power electronic circuit essentially consists of a power supply unit (A), a control unit (C) and a regulating unit (B) for delivering several predetermined amounts of heat each corresponding to a given size of clip. The device further comprises an assembly (3) capable of being sterilised constituted by a power cord (4) with a plug (5) at one end capable of being plugged in on the electronic circuit output (14) and having at its other end a sleeve (6) bearing two heating electrodes (7) and a control switch (8), and all the elements constituting the assembly (3) can be sterilised in autoclave. |
