摘要

A space type solid lubrication bearing having spacers each made of a solid lubricating material such as graphite and disposed between individual rolling elements has been proposed in view of non-applicability of grease lubrication to a bearing used in high-temperature and high-vacuum environments. However, such a bearing has posed problems in that since the spacer is very brittle and easy to break, it is damaged by impact during rotation, resulting in abnormal vibration in a bearing and slipping off of spacers. A solid lubrication rolling bearing free from slipping-off and damage and ensuring a smooth and safe rotation with a minimum vibration, comprising an inner ring, an outer ring, rolling elements, spacers made of selected materials and containing a solid lubricant and a retainer having pockets each housing a unit consisting of at least one of the spacers and one of the rolling elements.
