A firewall partition consists of a series of upright panels in-line, each terminating at the side in a vertical rod with a lift/lower locking mechanism. The rod extremities engage in parallel rails fitted to the ceiling and floor. The handle-operated lift-lower locking mechanism is located on the door outer face.
