METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PURIFYING WASTE GASES USED IN DRYING

Disclosed is a method for purifying waste gases used in the drying of wood chips, wood fibers or the like using a hot gas generated in a combustion chamber. The item to be dried is separated from the waste gases used in drying, whereupon the waste gases used for drying and charged with particle dust is fed into a vortex tube to separate the waste gases into purified and dust-charged waste gases. Disclosed is also a device for implementing the inventive method.
