摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a porous composite ceramic sintered body stable to humidity and having a small average pore diameter with good sinterability by incorporating a specified amt. of crystalline turbulent layer structure baron nitride (t-BN) particles. SOLUTION: An effective amt. (preferably >=5 wt.%) of crystalline t-BN particles is incorporated into a sintered body. The effective amt. is determined in accordance with the purpose for which the sintered body is used and it can be set at about >=0.1%, >=0.5%, >=1%, >=2%, >=3% and >=4%. A prescribed amt. of crystalline t-BN and 60-95% oxide particles of alumina and/or zirconia are sintered as principal components at <=1,450 deg.C at which phase transition is not caused to obtain the objective crystalline t-BN-contg. composite ceramic sintered body.
