PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material to be recorded for ink jet to give a record having a sufficient water resistance in the case of a relatively short period. SOLUTION: The material to be recorded for ink jet comprises an anchor coating layer containing a hydrophobic organic binder and organic particles, an ink receptive layer containing a hydrophobic organic binder and organic and/or inorganic particles, and an overcoating layer containing a hydrophobic organic binder and inorganic particles to be sequentially formed on a base material, in such a manner that a ratio of occupying the receptive layer with the particles is larger than that of the anchor coating layer and the particles of the overcoating layer are smaller than those of the ink receptive layer. |
