PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording medium having high image stability. SOLUTION: The thermal recording medium comprises a heat sensitive color developing layer containing a compound represented by a formula as a developer and at least one type of polyurea compound of 0.01 to 0.9 pt. to 1 pt. of the developer as a stabilizer (wherein R1 , R2 , R3 , and R4 are each, which may be the same or different, a hydrogen atom, 1-4C lower alkyl group or a halogen atom, R1 and R2 or R3 and R4 are bonded to one another which may form an aromatic ring, and X, Y are each, which may be the same or different, an oxygen atom or sulfur atom). |
