The machine incorporates a foil outlet, a longitudinal welding device, sealing cheeks movable towards one another, a feed tube for input of a product portion to be packed, whereby the filling tube, with the formation of a shaft with ring-shaped cross-section, has a double-walled structure. A compressed air inlet is provided and a compressed air outlet is connected to the shaft for acceleration of a product portion in the interior of the filling tube by means of compressed air. In the feed tube (14), two flaps (25,26), which are tight-closing and can be set back, are provided in the product feed direction (22) one behind the other. The compressed air inlet (19) issues in the space (27) in the feed tube between the flaps. |
