The antiskid protection valve is used in railway vehicles for pressurising the brakes when a sensor indicates a skiding signal. When thi signal vanishes then the brakes are released. The valve acts rapidly for pressurising the brake cylinder of the skiding wheel. The brake cylinder pressure is monitored and the pressure is rapidly released after the skidding signal vanishes. The valve chamber (13) connected to brake cylinder is connected by releasing valve (18) to the atmosphere. A pressure reducer valve (19) is connected to compressed air source. The releasing valve (18) is actuated against a spring force towards closing position. The pressure reducer valve is held closed by a spring force and brake cylinder pressure against the compressed air pressure. The sensor actuates control valve (15) for blocking the compressed air source to the releasing valve and pressure reducer valve. |
