The central network (1) is supplied with address information from a first local networks (2) and establishes which connection (2a) is being used for communication, and then it sets up a link between the first local network and a second local network. Address information associated with the first local network is received by the second local network, and the latter establishes which connection shall be used to set up communication between the two local networks, and an agreement is made regarding the communication protocol to be used. IMAGING AND COMMUNICATION - The local network can be a traditional telecommunications network, a data network or IP network being used to distribute e.g. audio and/or image programs. Address information is transferred to a number database (NDB) connected to or present in the central network. |
