A small-sized motor with worm speed reducer, wherein a hollow part (10) which accepts the tip end of a motor shaft and does not communicate with the outside is formed in a gear case (17) for storing a worm (6) connected to a motor shaft (4) and a worm wheel (7), a bearing holder (22) in which a bearing device is disposed is arranged in the hollow part and a metal fiber-mixed resin spacer or a metal spacer (30) is disposed between the bearing holder (22) and the gear case (17), the thrust of the motor shaft (4) is adjusted by pressurizing the motor shaft (4) in a thrust direction after the resin spacer is heated for softening from the outside of the gear case by electromagnetic induction or after the metal spacer is heated and a gear case projection in contact with this heated spacer is heated for softening, whereby the motor shaft can be fixed accurately in the thrust direction.
