The invention relates to a helical gear, comprising a spindle (1) fixed in axial direction and a nut (5) connected to a carriage (7) that is to be driven in axial direction. An articulation that is playfree and rotationally fixed in the drive direction is provided between the nut (5) and the carriage (7) to compensate for relative transverse movements and tilting between the nut (5) and the carriage (7). The articulation consists of a locating plate (8) placed on the nut (5), a locating plate (8) placed on the carriage (7) and an intermediate plate (9), which is placed under spring pressure on both locating plates (6, 8) along one of two tilting axis (16) extending vertically in relation to each other.
